News from the International Society for Quality Assurance in Health Care (ISQA); Notes from your Peripatetic Correspondent
From now on there will be regular notes of ISQA doings in the
journal—describing its wriggles and turns; its gulps for
air and stupendous dives and cartwheels—just the kind
of activities that will make this ISQA a place to wonder, to
ponder, to wander, to search for enlightenment. Apart from this
somewhat fishy analogy, the Society has come a long way from
Udine where the original idea of an international organization
was hatched. Given that Maastricht heralds the 10th conference
and with conferences scheduled in Venice next year and St John's,
Newfoundland in 1995, reports of its demise are somewhat premature.
Nevertheless, we need to exercise the organizational body!
